MEMBERSHIP

(Tax is included in prices.)
• All immediate family participants, of all ages on the Family Memberships are $55.00 per person if live inside the Meadows neighborhood or $90 per person if live outside the Meadows neighborhood.
o Note – immediate family members cannot use a guest fee or guest credits to access the pool.
• Participantsc18 years of age and under are required to have an adult of 19 years of age or older on the membership with them
• To avoid membership confusion in households that have family members that are 19 years of age and older, the Meadows may ask for 2 proof of residency documents at the primary membership household. The only acceptable proof includes the following with number 1 mandatory if requested –
1. Current proof of address from the United States Postal Services
2. Current Bank Statement or Insurance Statement
3. Current Utility Statement, (phone bill, water bill, cable bill, electrical bill)
• All immediate family members or persons, who reside at the member’s residence at least six months per year, will be permitted access to the pool under the membership.
• One (1) nanny 18 years or older is permitted on the family membership at the $55.00 per person if live inside the Meadows neighborhood or $85.00 per person if live outside the Meadows neighborhood rate. A nanny is not permitted to come to the pool without a family member under the primary pass holder’s name.
• Members must check in at the front desk at time of entry. All guests must be paid for at time of entry with a member of the family on the membership.
• Pool staff are not allowed to sign in for any person prior or after front desk check in.
• Pool use by any person other than a member or guest is prohibited.
• Verification of memberships may be requested at any time by the Director or Pool Manager. Any misrepresentation of information on the pool contract (such as incorrect address or ages) will be considered cause for loss of membership.

GUESTS

(Tax is included in prices.)
• Children under 12 are not allowed to bring a guest with them at any time unless a parent is present.
• Children ages 12-14 may bring a guest with them anytime as long as the guest is 12 years of age or older and has a
signed consent form by the parent on file at the pool.
• Members must be present at all times with their guests. NO exceptions will be made.
• Guests are individuals outside of the immediate family. The fee for any guest of any age is $8.00 per person.
• Members may buy guest credits for guests ONLY.
• Guest credits are $60.00 for 8 credits and expire at the end of the year. (1 credit per guest.)

*Guest credits expire at the end of the year and do not carry over to the next year.

*Must provide at least 48 hour notice if having 8 or more guest.  (This allows us to provide proper staffing.)

Pool Hours

• Sunday- Thursday 12 :00 PM- 7:00 PM
• Friday & Saturday 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Pool season runs Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
• Pool operating times are subject to change based on external factors. Example – weather pool malfunctions. If any question, please call the pool or check Facebook for up to date information at www.facebook.com. *Note, you will need to create an account to access our account. *

Children’s Hours

• Children ages 8 to 11 years old may swim without an adult present between the hours of 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. under the following conditions:
o A signed parent consent form must be on file.
o Child must be able to pass the required swim test set up with the Pool Manager.
o All children in this age range are required to take this swim test each year. No exceptions will be made.
o A child in this age range may not bring guests with them during this time.
o Any irresponsible behavior or misconduct will cause immediate revocation of their open swim privileges.

Reduced Operating Days

• Reduced Days of operation begin on Monday, August 10th due to school hours. Hours of operation after August 10th will be: Saturday-12:00-8:00 p.m. and Sunday-12:00-7:00 p.m.

Pool Usage, Capacity & Disclaimers

• The pool has a capacity of 359. When capacity is reached admittance will be regulated to abide by state regulations.
• By signing or electronically signing The Meadows Membership Contract, you are acknowledging, you have read and
understood our rules, regulations and polices stated in these document pages 1-4 and contract.
• All members must abide by the rules of the pool as set forth by the pools governing bodies (The Meadows Recreation
Director and SID Board 65) or by the State of Nebraska on regulations governing a Class A pool.
• All rules are subject to change by the Director or SID 65 Board.
• NO UNAUTHORIZED PERSON SHALL BE IN THE POOL OFFICE AT ANY TIME.
• ENGAGING IN ANY UNLAWFUL ACTIVITY CONSTITUTING A DANGER TO OTHERS OR INTERFERING WITH THE
PURPOSE OF OUR POOL WILL BE CAUSE FOR IMMEDIATE REVOCATION OF YOUR POOL CONTRACT WITH NO
MONEY RETURNED, AS WELL AS PROSECUTION TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW.
• ANY IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR OR MISCONDUCT BY ANYONE WILL MEAN IMMEDIATE REVOCATION OF
THEIR SWIM TIME AND MEMBERSHIP WITH NO MONEY RETURNED.
• THE MEADOWS POOL WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES IN CONNECTION WITH
THE USE OF THE POOL AND OTHER FACILITIES OR FOR THE LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERY.
ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BY MEADOWS COMMUNITY CENTER or SID 65 AT
ANY TIME.

Infants & Children

• Infants are not to be left unattended at anytime, anywhere on the Meadows Property.
• Children who are not potty trained must wear a swim diaper when in the pool area.
• Disposable diapers are not allowed.
• All diaper changing is to be completed in the restrooms.
• All diapers are to be disposed of in the proper waste receptacles.
• Children 11 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times, except during Children’s Hours for qualifying participants.

Lost & Found

• Any personal items left in the pool, pool area, or lockers will be placed in the “lost and found” located at the pool office.
• Items will be disposed of if not claimed in a reasonable amount of time.
• The Meadows staff, SID #65, and SID Board are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Safety Breaks

• There will be a 15-minute Safety Break/adult swim once every hour.
• Adults ages 19 or older may swim at this time.
• Adults may swim with children under the age of 5 while in their arms in the shallow end during the 10-minute period.

Lifeguards

• Please do NOT talk to the guards while they are Lifeguarding. They are there to watch over the pool and to help prevent
people from getting hurt. Talking with the guards breaks their concentration and endangers others. The guards are at the
pool to work, watch and keep control of situations.
• If they ask your child to take a time-out or to leave the pool, please do not interfere with them.
• If you have a problem with a guard, please wait until the next rest break and talk to the guard. If you can’t reach an
understanding, please go to the Pool Manager or Director. Records regarding all pool incidents are kept in the pool office
and the Pool Manager or Director regularly checks these records.
• GUARDS ARE TO BE RESPECTED AND OBEYED AT ALL TIMES.

Inclement Weather

• Pool closing due to inclement weather conditions, pool malfunctions and or/safety reasons will be left to the discretion of
the Director, Pool Manager or SID 65.
• If in question, please call the pool or check Facebook for up to date information at www.facebook.com.

• During days where weather can be questionable or change rapidly, please keep tabs on the current weather conditions in
the event there is a mid-day closing so you can arrange to have your youth picked up in a timely manner.

Pool Rentals

• The pool is available for private pool parties Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to midnight.  Morning parties can be on any day from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• All evening parties must end by midnight.
• For further information, contact the pool at 896-1223.
• All Pool Rules apply during pool parties. No exceptions.

Pool Rules

• No alcoholic beverages except at privately contracted adult (21 years and older) pool parties, with security on property.
• No glass containers of any kind, gum, or sunflower seeds.
• No illegal substances are permitted anywhere on Meadows Property.
Food and drink are permitted. There are trash receptacles placed all around the pool deck. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER
YOURSELVES AND YOUR CHILDREN or this privilege may be rescinded by the Director, or Pool Manager.
• Food items or drinks brought into the pool are subject to checks by the pool staff at any time.
• Smoking is permitted ONLY outside the pool facility. All smoking materials must be disposed of in the proper waste
receptacles. Any child under 19 years of age caught smoking anywhere on the pool property will be sent home
immediately and not allowed to return that day. A second offense will result in permanent loss of pool privileges.
• The only incoming calls passed onto children will be from parents.
• Absolutely no tennis balls, hard balls, footballs, or golf balls will be allowed. Please do not throw wet squeeze balls across
the deck, as they become heavy and capable of causing injury.
• Foul language is prohibited. This is a family pool. Any person using foul language will be asked to leave the pool
immediately.
• Music is played as an amenity to the pool. Radio stations are selected with the understanding they are family orientated
and provide a variety of cultural choices for everyone. Therefore, it will be at the mangers choice what stations are
selected.
• Children are encouraged to use the benches for placing their things and sitting (especially when crowded) so adults may
use chairs. Parents are asked to have their child give up their chair for adults who can’t find an empty one.
• Please shower before entering the pool to clean off oils and other solutions or debris that may affect pool water quality
and clarity.
• No fireworks are allowed in the pool facility.

Diving Board & Well

• One person on a board at a time.
• One bounce on the board.
• Dive straight off the end board, not to the side.
• No free swimming in the diving well while board is open for use.
• No hand stands or cartwheels off the end of the board
• Swim to the nearest ladder after exiting the board
• No catching young children off the end of the board
• No goggles used off the board
• No lifejackets are allowed off the board.

Main Pool

• Keep close on eye on children playing in all areas of the pool.
• Pool Slide – please go down feet first and make sure the area is clear before departure.
• No horse play is allowed in the pool.

Baby Pool

• May be used by children under 5 years of age accompanied by an adult over 19 years of age and who must be inside the
fenced area of the baby pool at all times with the child(ren). Older siblings between 6 and 18 years of age may not be left
in charge of children in the baby pool area.
• This area is designated as an ADULT SUPERVISION ONLY.
• The purpose of this pool is for younger children to use. Older children who can use the large pool may be asked by staff
to leave this area to adhere to its original purpose for the enjoyment of all.
